In preparation for my second labor, I had been doing a lot of personal work. I began my work with my somatic therapist at 32ish weeks and accepted my first job outside of the nursing field as an assistant and certified astrologer for my mentor. Rather than focusing on the experience of labor and what to expect within the stages of labor, I was focusing on my internal state and feeling empowered and steady.
